Peace Hill Farm, owned by writer and historian Susan Wise Bauer, is a hundred-acre family farm that raises rare Leicester Longwool sheep, Angora goats, ducks, and chickens. We sell fiber (fleeces, rovings, and beautifully finished yarns) plus lambs, kids, and free-range duck and chicken eggs.
Peace Hill Farm hosts farm-to-table dinners, school farm tours, afternoon teas, a fiber festival, and year-round seasonal events–including an Easter egg hunt, summer community yard sale, fall corn maze and pumpkin patch, and Cookies with Santa in December!
In association with the Bed and Breakfast at Peace Hill Farm, we also offer overnight stays along with fantastic event spaces with spectacular indoor and outdoor opportunities for weddings, retreats, and gatherings.
Make use of our timber-framed Lafayette Hall (complete with full kitchen and all facilities), gather on the rolling lawn overlooking the pastures where sheep and horses graze,
or enjoy our character-filled historic barn, overlooking fifty acres of scenic farmland.
